Today’s working party was made up of 10 residents,shifting 12 tons of gravel from above the hotel roundabout around the corner into Calle Ibiscum as far as the water pumping station.The silt and stones that wash down from the hill were also cleared off the road,and a channel was cut to divert the water away from the road.
Ken,who hasn’t missed a day in the 3 months he has been out,returns to UK next week I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing him and Lynn,who did some bucket rattling,Bon Voyage,thanks for the help,and we look forward to seeing you again in the Spring.
Todays bucket collection was 74euros 75 cents,which due to our location today,was mainly due to the generosity of D sector.Thanks to all who donated.
Iberdrola were spotted doing a survey of the dual carraigeway lights on C sector,so perhaps we may see some lights there shortly.

I am pleased to say that after a letter to the D-Sector gardening group asking for a contribution towards the cost of shrubs for along part of the main road we have received 200€. Thank you to all of D Sector it helps a great deal.
We all benefit from the work beaning carried out, we are all making a difference.

I would like to thank the team that went out this morning to install a new pipe to help with the water on the main road in bad weather.
Thanks to Ken and John & Adrian, Very well done boys with a little luck we have sorted out yet another Camposol problem and made it a little safer when driving in bad weather.There will still be water on the road but that is the dips in the road.

Some of the team are out tomorrow morning to fix the problem of water on the road at the bottom of the main road near the rambler.
We are fitting a new bigger diameter pipe and concreting it in position in the hope it does not get washed away like the last one.
