We have had a very good year and put in a lot of very hard work, the volunteers who come out should be proud of themselves as I am .

C-Sector perimeter is looking very nice thanks to them taking the time to make a difference to improve our environment on Camposol.

A very big thank you to all that have supported the group with donations and events we have run to raise funds.

I am looking to stand down form being the organizer in the next month as my villa has been neglected over the last year and having business to deal with in the uk. I will of course be out helping with the rest of the team.

I am looking for someone to take my place so please let me know if you can assist by joining a committee and take up a position of Chairman plus the other positions.

I will arrange an AGM meeting as soon as I can, everyone can have there say as to what we should do for the next 12 months.

Better late than never I have had visitors and very busy.

The night at the golf Club 4th March raised 867.26€ thanks to Tom and everyone that helped.

I am pleased to report we now have taken delivery of over 300 pine trees donated by the Mazarron council and the Murcia regional council.

We can plant the trees where we want so please let me know where you think they should go.

They have to be watered several times a week and I am looking for volunteers to water them and plant them.

The number of volunteers coming out is dropping and if we can not get people to help, the Green Fingers gardening group will fold.

Please ask your neighbours to come and join us for 2 hours on a Thursday morning.

We need people weeding and spraying and planting also watering and just brushing.

There will be a news letter shortly inviting everyone to the BBQ on the 29th April to celebrate the royal wedding also asking for help with the work of improving our sector.

I am please to report the tree planting ceremony went well with the Mayor of Mazarron and representatives from the Murcia regional government present plus representatives for A,B,C,D. plus CRA.

The trees which we are very great full to receive are only about 12 cm tall and we were informed they were about 4ft tall so that was a surprise to everyone including the Council.  The gardening groups have a meeting on Tuesday to arange planting and who gets what numbers.

We will then need your help to plant them and keep them watered for the first few months.

I am looking for a volunteer to take on the roll of planting and watering of the trees plus we still have a large number of grass plants to get in the ground.
